Institute Of Business Management (IOBM) Karachi Admissions 2026

The admission of the IOBM are advertised and announced in national Dailies of Pakistan. The social media and electronic media of the university are also used to inform the prospective students about admissions. The MBA admissions are only open once a year in June. The admissions for engineering programs are opened twice a year in the months of June and December. The MBA Executive admissions open thrice a year in March, June and December. The students are advised to apply for the admissions as soon as possible because the admissions are highly competitive and limited seats are available. It is a mandate to pass the entrance test and ace the interview to successfully gain admission in the University. Past academic record is also scrutinized to develop the merit.

The IOBM Fall Admission 2026 Round-2 starts. The candidates can start apply from April 26th, 2026 and the deadline is June 21st, 2026. The Aptitude Test fee is Rs. 3000/- which is non-refundable. The last date to apply and pay the fees is June 21st, 2026. Admit cards will be issued only to thoes candidates who have paid the fees within due date. The Aptitude test will conduct in Hyderabad on June 19th, 2026 (Thursday) and in Karachi on June 28th-29th, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday). The result of Aptitude Test will announce on July 17th, 2026 (Thursday) at 5:00pm. The interview of qualified candidates will held on July 19th, 2026 (Saturday) to July 28th, 2026 (Monday). The Merit List of MBA will announced on July 29th, 2026 (Tuesday) at 5:00 pm. The Merit List of BBA/BS/MS/MPhil/PhD will announce on August 6th, 2026 (Wednesday) at 5:00 pm.

Note: Aptitude Test for MS/MPhil and PhD programs will not be held. Candidates are required to submit GAT results (if qualified), conducted by NTS and check their interview schedule on July 17th, 2026(Thursday)  at 5:00 pm in the admission portal.

Admission Process

Candidates are required to fill out the online application form on the university’s website. Candidates also have to fill form and upload academic transcripts, a CNIC photocopy and a photograph. Once an applicant submits the application, they may have to appear for an entrance test that may evaluate their skills on the subjects applicable to the course they are applying to. Candidates may also be asked to interview for some programs. After finishing with the entrance exam and interview, if any, the university shortlisted the candidates on the basis of evaluation. The final decision is communicated to applicants via email or the IOBM portal. The admission office guides candidates through all stages of the process, ensuring that all steps are clear and manageable for the applicants.

Eligibility and Criteria

Academic requirements to get into IOBM Karachi in 2026 must meet the academic requirements for programs. Undergraduate must acquire intermediate (F.SC., A-Levels, or a corresponding degree) with a least needed percent (varies with courses). In the case of graduate programs, candidates must possess a related bachelor's degree along with a minimum CGPA as dictated by the university. Additionally, some programs may require prior experience or specific skills. General age and academic requirements subject to meeting the general requirements of IOBM for all applicants, including a general age for all applicants, which provides assurance that applicants are adequately prepared for the rigors of the programs of study applied for.
