Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), Lahore, has rolled out admissions in its postgraduate courses for academic year 2025. The institute maintains the trend of imparting specialized studies in administrative sciences and management. The admissions kicked off in January, with a sequence of testing to be followed before classes commenced on February 24, 2025. Candidates are welcome to apply through the official site of Punjab University online. The campaign for admissions showcases the institute's focus on leadership, innovation, and academic excellence and draws students from all over the country for pursuing careers in public administration, healthcare, and human resource management.
Admission Process
The admission procedure at IAS for 2025 includes online registration, written test, interviews, and publication of merit lists. Aspirants had to fill the online application by January 19, 2025. A test was to be held on January 25 at the IAS campus, after which interviews would be conducted on February 3 and 4. The first and general merit lists were shown on February 7, and shortlisted aspirants had to pay their fees by February 11. It is a complete merit based, transparent process wherein only the best qualified aspirants get an admission. Last classes are to begin on February 24, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for joining IAS postgraduate programs, applicants should have a 16-year qualification in a related field like MBBS, BDS, MHA, BS Nursing, or D-Pharmacy from an HEC recognized college. Candidates should have a clean educational record with no third divisions throughout their whole career. At least 50% marks in the subject wise GRE-type exam organized by IAS, and the same threshold level is applicable for the interview round. Students who are waiting for final results can apply as well but have to produce their transcripts prior to the interview. In certain situations, candidates could be required to undertake deficiency courses as suggested.
