Gulab Devi Educational Complex (GDEC) Lahore offers a well-defined fee plan for its 2025 academic year, including undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programs. The fee plan is categorized according to the type of program, Regular, Self-Financing, or University Support Program and domicile of the student. For Regular Scheme students, the year admission fee is approximately PKR 35,650, and semester fees are approximately PKR 38,600. Self Financing Scheme students need to pay one time payment of PKR 420,000 to PKR 1,350,000 based on the discipline. Charges for the hostel are additional with yearly fees of approximately PKR 12,700 and semester fees of approximately PKR 26,500. GDEC may change the fee structure whenever it deems necessary.
Programs Fee Structure
GDEC has different programs, each having a different fee matrix. The Regular Scheme students pay a semester fee which includes tuition, games, developmental charges, transport, and examination fees, which amounts to approximately PKR 38,600. The Self Financing Scheme students make an advance payment per discipline, for which PKR 1,350,000 is paid for Software Engineering, PKR 1,260,000 for Civil and Computer Systems Engineering, and lower sums for other disciplines. Individual courses under the Self-Financing Scheme include Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering, among others.
Scholarship & Financial Assistance
GDEC provides students with various scholarships to help finance their studies. Some of them are merit based scholarships, scholarships based on the needs of a student, as well as for students belonging to underprivileged backgrounds. Specific eligibility criteria, applications, and deadline details for availing scholarships are provided on GDEC's website. Students can apply for scholarships to ease them of the expense.
