Government Technical Training Institutes Gulberg Lahore was established in 1937 as Diyanand Technical Training Institute Lahore. The college was working under the supervision of Federal Government since 1962, and then it was gone under the control of provincial government. In 1972 with the special funds of Germany the college bought the new machinery to cost 50 lakhs. Now the institute is one of the best for technical education sector. The college offers different technical diplomas and short courses.
