Govt Sadiq Abbas College Dera Nawab Sahib

Govt. Sadiq Abbas College in Dera Nawab Sahib is a famous college situated in Bahawalpur and this college has a long history. It was set up in memory of Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi, the final ruling Nawab of the Royal State of Bahawalpur. By the age of 16 the institution reflects the Nawabs passion for education and the well being of his populous. The neat architecture of the campus also depicts and reflects the cultural and education aspect of Bahawalpur.

Academic Programs & Facilities

Sadiq Abbas College provides a number of programs owing to the need of the students for intermediate and undergraduate levels. Intermediate program include pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce and Arts Education at the college level. There are many of these programs which offer curriculum prepared by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to give a foundation for further learning. At the Undergraduate level, the college provides the Universities courses like Bachelor of Arts ( BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce ( B.Com). The programs studied in the BA include Urdu, English, Islamic studies and political science. Only the basic subjects are offered in the BSc program which includes Mathematics, physics chemistry and biology. BCom program is suitable for those students, who are willing to study business and finance. This enable students to get quality education and practical experience in their areas of specialty because there is modren laboratories and easy access to the library and conducive environment.
