The college offers a wide range of courses in varied Streams with an emphasis on Arts, Sciences, Commerce & Management. Undergraduate programs offered are; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) while post graduate programs offered include; English, Economics, Mathematics among others. There is adequate infrastructure to promote the academic feel of the college, such as well-equipped laboratories, a standard library and computer laboratories. It furthers the theoretical understanding of the subjects as well as the applicative skills that the students are expected to acquire from them to prepare for their future places of work.

Sports, Clubs and Volunteering

This institution is the Govt Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Degree College of which stress the overall development of all students through other activities. Many activities such as cultural fairs, sporting activities, and academic fora which are held by the college play a major role in the students’ personal and leadership development. Further, community services in form of social activities are and association memberships being undertaken by the college to enhance student responsibility in the society. Not only does it add to the learning experience but it also makes for good citizens out of the students as well.
