Govt College of Technology Raiwind Road

Govt College of Technology Raiwind Road, Lahore was established in 1988 on 26 Acres Land having covered area 14,3590sft. The College is situated at a distance of 7.5 KM from Tokhar Niaz-Baig on the right side of the Raiwind Road, Lahore. The classes of DAE in Electronics, Electrical and Civil Technologies were shifted from G.C.T, Railway Road, to this new built campus in September 1988. Computer Information, Environmental Control and Bio-Medical Technologies were started in 2000, 2003 and 2004 respectively under Asian Development Bank Assisted Technical Education Project. The post diploma of H.N.D (Telecom) started in 2006. The B. Tech. Degree program in Electrical & Electronics Technologies started in 2006.

Courses are offered through diplomas and certifications in programs in mechanical engineering, electrical technology, civil construction, and computer technology programs. The college offers specialized courses in automation, robotics, and industrial maintenance to provide a relevant and rich technical college campus experience to the region. The college will engage industry advisors to refresh and maintain relevant and practical courses both annually and through various industry exposure of the program.
