The employment apprenticeship training center in Township Lahore, functions under the Government Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) of Punjab. GATC is built up to meet the demand for skill acquisition between the industry and education, in accordance with the National Apprenticeship Ordinance of 1962. GATC operates various programs for the employability improvement and corresponding to the growing demands of skilled labor in industries of Pakistan. With emphasis on quality training, GATC stands in the forefront of the country's vocational education.

Programs Offered

GATC Township provides a variety of courses for training students with industry related skills. They are Diplomas in Welding, Plumber, Mechanical Draughtsman, Machinist, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electronics, Electrician, Computer Applications, and Auto Mechanic. GATC Township also provides Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) courses in Welding and Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning. All of these courses are being instructed with dynamicity in a way conforming to changing industry needs and so the graduating candidates are equally good at managing the industry.

Facilities & Activities

GATC Township possesses modern infrastructures to support its training program. The organization boasts facilitated workshops, classrooms, and computer labs to facilitate practical learning. A library where students can learn theories and basic facilities such as electricity and drinking water are provided within the campus. Even though hostel and canteen facilities are not available, the organization organizes co-curricular activities and industrial visits to supplement learning. These initiatives aim to provide students with practical exposure and a holistic educational experience.
