Academic Program Offered

The college offers four year B.Ed Hons program in Elementary Education. The program emphasizes training elementary school teachers who could conduct teaching and assessment in an effective manner. The curriculum imparts courses such as child psychology, teaching techniques, assessment techniques, and educational leadership. The program intends to develop competence among its students to deal with the challenges of the classroom and help instill positive learning undertakings. Graduates will be able to enter multiple professions in teaching: teaching in elementary schools, working in educational organizations, and generally any work calculated to aid in the educational process. The training embodies both the theoretical and practical character to see to it that teachers are well equipped to handle the modern classroom. 

Facilities & Activities

The college has modern facilities designed to enhance the learning experience. The college buildings have been renovated, new classroom blocks have been added, a cafeteria has been established, and students have comfortable areas for social interaction. These provide trainees with a regular platform for developing confidence and communication skills. The writing center lends support to academic writing while the teaching aids offer resources for successful lesson planning. Student life is further enlivened by the possible participation of students in various seminars, workshops, and co-curricular activities, thereby resulting in cooperative learning. These facilities have enabled students to realize hands on experience and lay a sound foundation for their future teaching careers.
