Government College of Technology

Government College of Technology Peshawar is one of the centers of excellence with a focus on technology and vocational training in Pakistan. The college was formed in order to satisfy the increasing demand of every industrial seam for trained professionals and offers courses mainly in elementary engineering technologies, technology and applied science. To achieve this goal, the college does not only emphasize on effective instruction supplemented by theoretical learning but also instills skills among students to enable them compete successfully in the job market.

Programs Offers

The college also provides the BTE/DBA program and the B.E/B.T programme in select areas including, but not restricted to Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building and Infrastructure Engineering and Computer Technology. The programs are crafted in a way that complements the education attained in-class with the understanding of the world through fieldwork so that students acquire the available skill sets today. Government College of Technology is ideally located where modern learning by doing is practiced supported by very advanced laboratories and workshops. The teaching staff consists of practitioners in their respective fields and accommodates students as they walk through studies in an innovative siege.

Extracurricular Activities

Apart from academics, the college advocates engagement in extra-curricular activities that assist a great deal in personal growth as well as group related activities. The school encourages students to develop skills by organizing clubs, competitions and even seminars. At the same time, the college gives assistance in career planning, including provision of internships and help in finding employment for school leavers.
