Admission Process 

The admission process begins with a candidate completing his/her application through the National Testing Service (NTS). Application forms can be downloaded by interested applicants from the NTS official website. The applicants must submit the completed application form to the NTS headquarters, in Islamabad before the closing date. They will be called for interviews if they qualify based on the written examination. The final decision will be made based on the combined performance in the written examination and the interview process. Applications submitted for scholarship, special quota and open merit admission, must be submitted separately from each other. The admissions process has multiple stages to ensure transparency and that every applicant is provided with clear opportunity to apply for merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Changes in the age of potential candidates vary from class to class. For class 8, the candidate should normally be between 11-13 years of age and must have passed class 7. For class 9, the candidate should normally be between 12 to 14 years of age and must have passed class 8. Candidates applying for class 11 must have passed class 9 with 70% marks. Candidates from all categories are eligible to apply (including overseas Pakistanis). There is no age relaxation, and no late applications will be accepted. Candidates must submit a different form for the category they wish to apply under (merit or under quota).
