Academic Programs Offered

DIKIOHS has several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of dentistry. The field of Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a recognized area of study that began in 2006 and twenty years later, students are still pursuing a BDS for strong dental foundations. The institute provides postgraduate education in the form of a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Fellowship in Clinical Sciences (FCPS-Part II) in various dental disciplines. Given the research potential, in 2014 the MSc in Dentistry was initiated offering a research and graduate programme paving the way for higher learning in the field of as well as further allowing in depth research and development in the area of oral health sciences. Such programs guarantee that the graduates will have significant experience in clinic and be well prepared to face the professional world.

Facilities &  Activities

The school has contemporary facilities that facilitate practical and theoretical learning. Features fully serviced seminar rooms, modern labs and clinical out patient Departments (OPDs). The 125 chair dental hospital permits students to practice treating patients under expert guidance. Besides academics, DIKIOHS also promotes other activities for students in sports, cultural endeavours, and research projects. Through this well rounded approach, students not only learn the requisite technical skills but also personal growth, ensuring they become responsible and effective professionals in dentistry.
