Defence Degree College for Boys, Lahore, is inviting admissions for 2025. The college is providing a variety of courses such as Intermediate (FSc, ICS, ICom) and Bachelor's (BA, BSc, BBA, BS-IT). Merit based admissions with a limit of 40 students per section are being conducted to ensure quality education. Admissions include the submission of application forms, an interview, and payment of dues. The selected candidates have to join classes during the initial week of the academic year.
Admission Process
The admission procedure at Defence Degree College for Boys is transparent and systematic. The prospective students are required to obtain the prospectus from the Admission Office and submit a properly filled admission form along with documents. The Admission Committee conducts an interview to evaluate the candidate's suitability. Candidates are given a fee voucher by the Accounts Office if they are selected, which has to be deposited within three days at the specified bank. Merit list is posted on the college notice board, and classes start as soon as the admission procedure is completed.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria differ according to the program. For Intermediate programs, candidates should have passed matric with the specified percentage. For Bachelor's degrees, a minimum education of 12 years with a second division is required. Candidates belonging to other boards need to submit a migration certificate. A medical fitness certificate issued by DHA Medical Centre or by a recognized medical officer is also a requirement. The parents have to sign a commitment form for attendance and performance of their son to be considered for board examinations.
