Admission Process

In DIHE admission process those who are interested in applying must register on the university’s admission portal and complete the application form. This form collects some basic personal information, some educational background, and the program preference, Students are required to upload their educational transcripts, CNIC/B-Form, and passport size photos, along with the application form. After the submission, candidates have to pay a processing fee via available payment methods. Some programs require an entry test or interview as a selection criterion. Shortlisted candidates will be informed for next steps and final admissions.

Eligibility and Criteria

The requirements for DIHE programs differ. Undergraduate candidates must have completed Intermediate with minimum 45% marks. Specific additional requirements may apply to some programs. For postgraduate programs, the applicants must have an undergraduate degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 45% marks. Depending on particular course or provider requirements, candidates may be needed to complete an entry exam or interview to evaluate whether the program is suitable for them. The aspirant is eligible for a degree or diploma if he/she fulfills the following requirements:

Meets the eligibility criteria specified by the department.
The candidate's previous academic qualification should be from a HEC recognized institution.
Passes the entry test.
Has no criminal record or history.
Has not been rusticated from previous educational institution.
The application forms are scrutinized and candidates are shortlisted. The eligible candidates are required to appear in an entrance test arranged by the university. The performance of candidates in admission test is very important as it forms the basis of merit of admission.60% of the marks in admission test shall count. The previous academic record of the candidates also matters and it forms 40 % of the merit.
All courses are taught in English, except for Urdu. The medium of instruction is Urdu.
The university is holds the right to cancel the admission of a candidate if the fee is not paid by the due date.
