For Admission in BBA program

• Student at least 50% marks in any discipline in their HSC or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply for admission.
• Candidates of foreign boards should submit an Equivalence certificate. However, there will be no downgrading of their grades on the basis of equivalence.
• An Aptitude test would be conducted prior confirming the admission .The test will include questions from English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
• The candidates who clear their aptitude test have to appear for an interview before a Board.
• Later a Group discussion will assess student’s confidence and other personal traits.

WEIGHTAGE OF EACH STAGE

The weightage of each stage will be as follows:

• Academic Result (HSC or equivalent) - 30 %
• Score of Aptitude Test - 40%
• Interview - 20%
• Group Discussion - 10%

Documents required for submission after clearing the admission formalities

Candidates granted admissions are required to submit the following attested photocopied documents.

• Matric / O Level Certificate
• Intermediate / A Level Certificate
• Intermediate Mark sheet
• C.N.I.C. or Birth Certificate or B. Form
• Four recent attested Passport size photographs

However, for migration and A-level students’ equivalency, original certificates are required.

Conditions are a bit different for already registered CIBES students as they are exempted from aptitude test.

For Admission in MBA program

The student applying for admission in MBA program at CIBES should graduate from any HEC recognize institutions or equivalent, whereas the other requirements are nearly similar as the BBA program requirements. However the following documents are required for MBA admission process:

• Mark sheets of bachelor (for Master candidates) degrees
• Attested photocopies of his/her ID card or B-Form
• Two passport sized color photographs

Eligibility Criteria

The Commerce Institute of Business Education (CIBE), Karachi, generalizes on the need for candidates to have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or a comparable qualification with minimum marks of 50% in order to be eligible for undergraduate programs. While for postgraduate programs, it requires candidates to have obtained an appropriate bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate score or CGPA. Entrance tests and interviews need to be conducted as well for the admission.
