Balochistan University of Information Technology & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) Quetta Admissions

There is an online application system available for the students who are interested to gain admission in the university. The students are advised to check for the admission advertisements in local newspapers and on the official website of the university. www.buitms.edu.pk/Default.aspx.

The university has a clear and transparent admission policy.

The admissions open in the months of June/July. The students are advised to apply for admissions before the due date that is in the last week of August. Students who have not yet received the results of HSSC (Higher School Secondary Certification) are also eligible to apply. Only the students who submit their DMCs (Detail Marks Certification) before the pre-admission test and have obtained at least 60% marks are eligible to appear for the entry test.

Seats on open merit can be availed by Students with only a Baluchistan Domicile holders. However there are seats reserved for students from other provinces. The seat distribution is as following:

• 10 seats are allocated for students of Punjab.
• A quota of 4 seats each for provinces of NWFP and Sindh.
• 2 seats for students of Azad and Jammu Kashmir.
• 2 seats available for FATA.
• Students of Northern Areas has been allocated a total of 3 seats.
• 2 seats reserved for the federal Capital.
• And 3 seats for DAE.

Students from all over Baluchistan can apply on basis of self-finance. The degree would cost them approximately 450,000 per 4 year program.
