How to Apply

• Check eligibility and details of all programmes in the prospectuses available at University Website.
• Submit online application at https://fmbp.aiou.edu.pk
• Manual forms for Matric, Intermediate, ADA/ADC, BEd & ATTC are also available in Regional Offices and Sale Points.
• Continuing students can register courses in CMS at following link: https://enrollment.aiou.edu.pk
• Fee can be deposited in any branch of ABL, MCB, FWBL and NBP OR Upaisa, Easypaisa and JazzCash.

Autumn Admissions for International Students

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has recently announced the admissions for Autumn 2025, with different academic programs open to international students such as their Secondary School Certificates (SSC, HSSC), Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BEd, BS), Master's degrees (MA, MSc, MS, MPhil), and PhD degree. The admissions process is fully online on the AIOU Online Admission System (OAS). The portal, as well as the official prospectus, will be available from July 1st, 2025. The closing date for most PG, and BS programs is August 10th, 2025. All International applicants can complete the admissions process online, including submission of the form, documents, and registering for the entrance test without traveling to Pakistan. AIOU also provides assistance through its regional centres and student facilitation hubs. Applicants need to submit attested copies of academic transcripts, passport/visa copies, and passport-size photographs according to the following international admission policy.  AIOU represents a flexible and accessible learning opportunity for all students. The Autumn 2025 intake will provide the opportunity for students around the world to engage with quality education through distance learning.

Allama Iqbal Open University Announces admissions for matric and inter level students. There is no age limit or restriction for admission in any of the degree programs offered at AIOU.

The university follows a modified semester system:

There are two semesters per year:

• Autumn
• Spring

The admissions open from February to March. Whereas the admission of autumn semester open from August to September. However, for exact dates of opening and closing of the admission, you must refer to the advertisements of AIOU in the newspaper. The dates of admission are also available on the website.

In both the semesters, all general education and functional courses are offered. The classes for each semester comprises 18 weeks. And two additional weeks are provided for exam preparation.
