Admission Process

Admission at AES is a multi-step process. First, parents need to collect the registration form from the school office or fill it out online from the first week of February. After submission of the form, the admissions office will contact the applicants and arrange for a test and interview, usually in March. The test differs according to grade level: for KG-1, a casual interview measures the child's motor ability and confidence, for KG-2 and KG-3, there is a written test in fundamental subjects followed by an interview, for Classes I to VII, there is a written test in English, Math, and Urdu followed by an interview. Admission depends on availability of seats and passing the test and interview.

Eligibility Criteria

AES follows fixed age and gender criteria for all classes. Candidates eligible for KG-1 include 2 years 8 months to 3 years 7 months, KG-2 comprises 3 years 8 months to 4 years 7 months, for KG-3 candidates it's 4 years 8 months to 5 years 7 months, and so on until age criteria by one year increased in each category. The school has gender segregation from Class I onwards, with boys and girls sections. The conditions for admission are payment of non-refundable registration fee, filling up the admission form, and passing the admission test and interview.
