Notice for Admission to Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD) — Admission 2026 (Nair)

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Ravi Campus, Chhapa Chocki, and its affiliated institutions invite applications from candidates for admission to the Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD) for the session 2026-2028 on the prescribed online and printed forms.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

1. Only candidates who possess a domicile of Punjab Province and who have passed their Matriculation (annual first examination) in the current year from a Punjab educational institution or the Federal Board shall be considered eligible to submit admission forms.

2. Candidates awaiting the result of Matriculation or its equivalent (Annual First Examination 2026) shall be eligible to apply, provided they have successfully passed all subjects of the 9th class (Annual First Examination 2025). Additionally, they must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in aggregate.

3. Candidates who have already passed Matriculation or its equivalent examination in 2025 or earlier shall have their eligibility determined on the basis of their Matriculation result.

4. Candidates awaiting results shall be granted provisional admission. However, they must successfully pass the Matriculation or its equivalent Annual First Examination 2026 and meet the minimum aggregate marks requirement of at least 45% for the A-Program. Otherwise, their admission shall be cancelled, and the deposited fees shall not be refunded.

Merit-Based Admission

• Admission shall be granted solely on the basis of merit from Punjab Province. Candidates must submit attested copies of the following documents along with a passport-sized photograph (one copy) and upload them in the designated space on the admission form.

• Soft copies of all required documents must be in PDF format, and photographs in JPEG format. No PDF or JPEG file should exceed 300KB in size.

4. Two passport-sized photographs (with white background)

• Candidates who are employees of the university and wish to seek admission must obtain a University Employment Certificate from the Registrar's Office. Candidates seeking admission against reserved seats for minorities must upload a PDF file (maximum 300KB) of the verification certificate from the relevant religious institution.

Application Submission

• The online admission form is available on the university's website: http://www.uvas.edu.pk

• The admission form fee is Rs. 500/- per form. For both morning and evening classes, separate fees of Rs. 500/- each must be deposited. Separate challan forms can be downloaded and deposited at any branch of Bank Alfalah. Multiple forms can be submitted through the LC (Letter of Credit) method.

• Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or any online banking service (1Link). After payment, the admission form should be saved/printed for record.

• Candidates are advised to use their own mobile number (not a number on another mobile network) and email address while generating the challan, and to enter them on the online admission form so that all necessary information regarding admission may reach them.

Merit List and Fee Submission Schedule

General Instructions

• Candidates are responsible for checking their names in the merit list on the university website according to their respective centers. The university shall not be responsible for informing candidates individually.

• Upon selection, candidates must submit all attested documents along with the challan form at their respective centers after depositing the fee.

• Hostel accommodation for female students shall be available in the designated hostel according to the rules of the concerned institution, purely on the basis of merit.

• In case of selection of more than one center, the candidate's placement at one of the selected centers shall be determined purely on the basis of merit.

• Once admitted, migration to another center shall not be permitted.
