The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, through its Ravi Campus, Pattoki, and the following affiliated institutions, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to the Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD), Session 2026–2028.

Applications are required to be submitted through the prescribed online application form, along with the required printed documents where applicable.

ELIGIBILITY / ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Domicile and Educational Qualification

Only candidates holding a Punjab domicile and having passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from any educational board of Punjab or the Federal Board are eligible to apply.

Candidates awaiting the result of the 2026 Annual-I Matriculation Examination may also apply, provided they have successfully passed all subjects of the 9th Class Annual-I Examination 2025.

Candidates must have obtained the required marks in the Science subjects — Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Note: The exact minimum percentage/marks stated in the source appears to have been affected by OCR errors.

Candidates who passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination in 2025 or earlier will have their eligibility determined on the basis of their Matriculation results.

2. Provisional Admission for Result-Awaiting Candidates

Result-awaiting candidates will be granted admission on a provisional basis.

After admission, they must successfully pass their Matriculation or equivalent Annual-I Examination 2026 and meet the prescribed minimum eligibility criteria for the LAD programme.

If a candidate fails to meet the required eligibility criteria, the admission will be cancelled and the fee deposited will not be refunded.

3. Age Limit

There is no age limit for admission.
Education is for everyone.

4. Merit

Admission will be offered to candidates from Punjab on open merit.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must scan and upload clear, attested copies of the following documents along with a passport-size photograph with a white background:

1. Matriculation / equivalent certificate
2. Domicile certificate
3. CNIC or B-Form
4. Two passport-size photographs with a white background

File Requirements

• Documents must be uploaded in PDF format.
• Photographs must be uploaded in JPEG format.
• The size of each PDF file and photograph must not exceed 300 KB.

Special Categories

• Candidates seeking admission against seats reserved for UVAS employees must obtain the required employment-related certificate from the Registrar Office, UVAS Lahore.
• Candidates seeking admission against minority quota seats must upload a verification certificate issued by the relevant religious institution.
• The relevant certificate must be uploaded in PDF format within the prescribed file-size limit.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 500 per centre.

Candidates applying for different centres and/or separate morning and evening classes are required to pay a separate fee for each selection.

A separate challan form must be downloaded for each centre and deposited at any branch of Bank Alfalah.

The payment may also be made through the prescribed online payment methods, including:

• Debit Card
• Available online banking / payment applications through the provided link

Applicants should keep the paid challan/payment receipt safely for their record.

No objection/request will be entertained after the prescribed deadline.

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

After securing admission, candidates must submit the following at their respective centre:

• Attested copies of all required documents
• Paid challan form / payment receipt
• Other documents required by the University

Admission will remain subject to successful verification of the submitted documents.

MERIT & SELECTION

• Candidates will be selected strictly on merit.
• The University will not be responsible for individually informing candidates about their inclusion in the merit list.
• Candidates are therefore advised to check the UVAS website themselves for the merit lists according to their selected centre.
• Once admission is granted at a centre, migration to another centre will not be allowed.
• In case a candidate selects more than one centre, admission may be offered at any one of the selected centres according to merit and available seats.
