IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

  2. Candidates shall be required to qualify the Admission Eligibility Test as per university policy.

  3. Candidates employed in any government/semi-government department/organization must submit NOC from the concerned department within 30 days after admission.

  4. A copy of the application submitted to the employer for NOC or acknowledgment may be produced at the time of admission; failing which, the admission will stand cancelled.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRADUATE PROGRAMS (MPHIL/PHD ONLY)

  1. Candidates shall be required to qualify the Admission Eligibility Test (GAT-General / GAT-Subject) conducted by the University through NTS, approved by the University, securing a minimum score of 50% in GAT-General and 60% in GAT-Subject, respectively.

  2. Candidates possessing a valid GAT-General / GAT-Subject result conducted by NTS or the Higher Education Commission-Education Testing Council (HEC-ETC) are eligible for admission, subject to the fulfillment of other prescribed eligibility criteria.

  3. Candidates employed in any government/semi-government department/organization and autonomous bodies must submit NOC from the department/organization concerned within 30 days after admission.

  4. A copy of the application submitted to the employer for NOC or acknowledgment may be produced at the time of admission; failing which, the admission will stand cancelled.

  5. MPhil or equivalent degree with research thesis is mandatory for admission into PhD.

  6. The applicants shall apply online through the "Online Application System" available at the UOM website: http://www.uom.edu.pk

  7. All applicants are required to download the system-generated deposit slip/fee challan and deposit the same at any branch of National Bank of Pakistan or Bank of Khyber.

HOW TO APPLY FOR NTS TEST

  • Interested candidates who do not possess a valid NTS GAT-General / GAT-Subject or HEC-ETC result are required to appear for the NTS Test by visiting NTS website.

  • The last date for submission of applications is August 10, 2026. The test will be conducted through NTS, and results will be uploaded on the NTS website.

  • For further details regarding the test, candidates may contact NTS.
