ADMISSION NOTICE: UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS

SSUET, the pioneer in offering Biomedical Engineering in Pakistan and a leading charter university recognized by the HEC, PEC, NCEAC, PCATP, and NTC, announces admissions for its diverse educational tracks.

1. UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS (BACHELOR PROGRAMS)

A. BS Engineering Programs

• Disciplines: Biomedical, Computer, Civil, Electronic, Electrical, Telecommunication.

• Eligibility: Minimum 60% marks in the relevant discipline of HSC / A-Level / DAE / Equivalent.

• Test Exemption: Candidates who have passed USAT, NEDUET, MUET, NTS, ETEA, or MDCAT in the current year are completely exempted from the SSUET entry test.

B. BS Computing & Applied Sciences Programs

• Disciplines: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing & Information Sciences, Computer Networks & Security, Data Science, Robotics & Intelligent Machines, Renewable Energy Systems, Game Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Science & Technology, Clinical Psychology.

• Allied Health Tracks: Medical Technology in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Radiological Imaging.

• Eligibility: Minimum 50% or 45% marks (depending on the specific program/discipline conditions) in HSC / A-Level / DAE / Equivalent.

• Test Exemption: Valid current-year scores of USAT, NEDUET, MUET, NTS, ETEA, or MDCAT qualify for entry test exemption.

C. Business Programs

• Disciplines: BBA (4-Year), BBA (2.5-Year), Business & Information Technology, Business Analytics, BS Entrepreneurship.

• Eligibility (4-Year Tracks): Minimum 50% marks in HSC / A-Level / Equivalent (open to all disciplines).

• Eligibility (2.5-Year BBA): 14 years of prior education with a minimum 50% marks in both HSC/Equivalent and the subsequent graduation degree (B.Sc, B.Com, BA, etc.).

D. Architecture & Design (5 & 4 Year Tiers)

• Disciplines: Bachelor of Architecture (5 Years), Bachelor of Interior Design (4 Years).

• Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks in the required track of HSC / A-Level / DAE / Equivalent.

• Mandatory Subject: Mathematics is strictly required at the SSC / O-Level tier. Current-year test qualifiers of USAT, NEDUET, MUET, NTS, or ETEA are exempted from the internal entry test.

E. Bachelor of Engineering Technology Programs (B.E. Tech)

• Disciplines: Available in core technological layout streams.

• Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks in the required discipline of HSC / A-Level / DAE / Equivalent.

2. NEWLY LAUNCHED GRADUATE PROGRAMS

SSUET has introduced cutting-edge specialization tracks at the graduate level:

3. GRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE ADMISSIONS (MS, MBA, PhD)

A. MS & MBA Programs

• MS Fields: Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering (Morning), Civil Engineering (Evening), Electrical Engineering (Evening), Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence (Morning).

• Business: Master of Business Administration (MBA).

• Eligibility: Minimum 2.0 CGPA (under semester systems) or 60% / 1st Division (under annual marking systems) in a relevant 16-year HEC-recognized degree.

• Test Exemption: Valid current-year GRE, GAT, or HAT scorers are exempted from the internal SSUET test framework.

B. PhD Programs

• Disciplines: Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics.

• Eligibility: Minimum 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 (semester track) or 1st Division (annual track) in an HEC-recognized MS / M.Phil or equivalent degree within a matching field.

• Testing Protocol: Must possess a passing score in the NTS GAT-General test (minimum 60% marks). In addition, candidates must clear a specialized GAT-Subject test administered by SSUET with a minimum score of 60%.
