Undergraduate:
Intermediate with a minimum 2nd Division OR equivalent.
O-Level/A-Level: Passing grades in 8 subjects of 'O Level' (including compulsory subjects) and a minimum of 3 main subjects (no subsidiary) of 'A Level'.
IBCC Equivalence Certificate is mandatory for A-Level students. If A-Level results are pending, the O-Level Equivalence Certificate must be attached.
Graduate (M.Des/M.Sc/M.Phil):
16 years or 4 years of education in a relevant field (minimum 120 credit hours) after HSSC / F.A. / F.Sc / Grade 12 or Equivalent.
A valid GRE / HAT General / Equivalent Test with a minimum passing score of 50% is acceptable.
Doctoral (PhD):
18 years of education in a design or relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (semester system) OR 60% marks / 1st Division (annual system).
Alternatively, 16 years of education with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (semester system) OR 1st Division (annual system). Please visit the PIFD website for comprehensive detailed criteria.
