Programme Overview

The Institute of Medical Education (IME-JSMU) is offering a carefully designed Certificate in Health Professions Education Programme to suit the needs of health education institutions across Pakistan.

Key Dates

Admission Process

1. The application form and prospectus for CHPE 2027 are available at www.jsmu.edu.pk.

2. Every applicant must submit an NOC from his/her Head of the Department / Institution granting permission to attend the programme.

3. The final decision for admission will be taken by the IME-JSMU Admission Committee. Once the admission list is finalized, it will be announced on the JSMU website, and an email will be sent to successful candidates only.

4. Admission will be given to the first 25 applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold any one of the following or equivalent qualifications, registered with the respective national regulatory/accrediting body (minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university):

• MBBS / MD — Registered with PMDC

• BDS — Registered with PMDC

• B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) — Registered with PNC

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

• Allied Health Sciences

• Pharm D

Experience: One year of teaching experience in a relevant field is preferable.
