Admissions are open for the following Undergraduate Engineering Programs under both Regular and Self-Finance Schemes:

3. Eligibility Criteria (Detailed Breakdown)

• For BE Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Systems, Software, Electronic, and Energy Systems Engineering:

  • Qualification: HSSC/equivalent (Pre-Engineering) from a recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: 60% marks.

  • Note for Pre-Medical Students: Candidates with HSSC (Pre-Medical) qualification applying for Engineering programmes without taking an additional math exam must clear a condensed Mathematics course of 8 weeks offered by BUETK, prior to admission. Details of the condensed course are available on the university website.

  • DAE/B-Tech Candidates: Candidates having DAE/B-Tech are eligible against their respective discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

• For BE Bio Medical Engineering:

  • Qualification: HSSC (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical) from a recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: 60% marks.

4. General Instructions and Application Process

• Detailed Eligibility: Complete eligibility criteria for Engineering programs can be viewed at www.buetk.edu.pk.

• Admission Test: All eligible candidates are required to appear in a pre-admission test to be conducted by NTS.

• Application Form:

  • Forms can be obtained from the Students Affair Branch, BUETK, on deposit of Rs. 4,000/- (Non-refundable) in any branch of UBL using the challan generated from www.buetk.edu.pk/GenFiChallan.

  • Forms may also be downloaded from the university website and submitted along with the Bank challan.

• Self-Finance Scheme: Seats under the Self-Finance Scheme are open for admission for all citizens of the country.

• Document Submission: The application form, duly completed in all respects and accompanied by attested photocopies of the required documents, must reach the Students Affair Branch, BUETK, by or before 30th August 2026.

• Important Note: Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.
