Admission Test for Undergraduate Programs (Academic Year 2026–27)
The University of the Punjab invites applications from candidates seeking admission to its undergraduate programs for the academic session 2026–27. It is mandatory for all applicants to appear in the PU Admission Test, which is tentatively scheduled for:
Sunday, 14th June, 2026
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who meet the following conditions can apply:
- Students who have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (Grade 12).
- Students who have appeared in final HSSC or equivalent examinations and are awaiting results.
Admission Test Categories
The test will be conducted in seven (7) categories, based on academic background:

Note: The Admission Test carries 25% weightage in the total merit calculation.
Results from previous years are not valid for current admissions.

http://admissiontest.pu.edu.pk - Test centers will be established in major cities of Pakistan.
How to Apply
- Register online via: http://admissiontest.pu.edu.pk
- Test Fee: PKR 2500/- (Non-refundable & non-transferable)
- Download the fee challan from the portal during registration.
- Payment can be made at any branch of HBL, UBL, or through mobile banking via 1Bill.
- Upload proof of payment on the admission portal to complete your application.
Important Program-Specific Requirements
- Engineering Programs: PU Admission Test is mandatory as per PEC regulations. Scores from E-CAT (UET) or NUST Entry Test are also acceptable.
- LLB Programs: Both LAT and PU Admission Test are mandatory.
- College of Art & Design: Requires PU Admission Test plus a separate Drawing/Aptitude Test.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D): Admission based on MDCAT or PU Admission Test.
