Mandatory Requirement: Participation in the PU Admission Test is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programs at the University of the Punjab.

Tentative Test Date: June 14, 2026 (Sunday)
Passed Students: Candidates who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Equivalent/Grade 12 education.
Result Awaiting Students: Candidates who have sat for their HSSC (or equivalent) final exams and are currently awaiting their results.
The test is divided into seven specific categories based on the student's academic background:

Weightage: The Admission Test score accounts for 25% of the total merit calculation.
Purpose: Qualifying the test allows a candidate to apply for various programs once they are officially advertised.
Validity: Only the 2026 test is valid. Results from previous years' PU Admission Tests are not valid for new admissions.
Engineering Programs: PU Admission Test is mandatory. However, per PEC regulations, E-CAT (UET) or NUST Test scores are also acceptable.
Law (LLB): Both LAT (Law Admission Test) and the PU Admission Test are mandatory.
Art & Design: PU Admission Test is mandatory, followed by a separate Drawing/Aptitude Test conducted by the College of Art & Design.
Pharmacy (Pharm-D): Either MDCAT or the PU Admission Test scores are valid.

Download the system-generated Challan from the portal.
Pay at any branch of HBL, UBL, or via Mobile Banking (1Bill).
Requirement: Applicants must upload a digital image of the payment proof to the portal to finalize their application.
Venues: The test will be conducted in major cities across Pakistan.
