The Pakistan Navy has announced the Short Service Commission Course 2026-B, inviting applications from patriotic and qualified citizens of Pakistan. Branch-Wise Vacancies

The positions are categorized by specialized branches. Unless otherwise noted as (M/F), positions are generally for Males (M).

1. Combat & Executive Branches

  • Operations: Surface, Marine, Aviation, and SSG (N).

  • Supply: Surface operations.

  • Special Branches: Meteorologist, Metallurgy, Textile, Electrical/Electronics/Avionics, Mechatronics, Automotive, Civil, and Weapon Engineering.

  • Naval Law: Candidates with LLB/LLM/PhD or Bar at Law.

  • Information Technology: (M/F).

2. Engineering Branches

  • Mechanical Engineering: Surface, Aviation, and Submarine.

  • Weapon Engineering: Surface, Aviation, Submarine, and Ordnance.

3. Medical Branch (Specialists & GDMOs)

A comprehensive list of medical specialists is required, including but not limited to:

  • General: GDMOs (M/F), General Medicine, and General Anaesthetists.

  • Surgical: General Surgeon, Neuro Surgeon, Cardiac Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, and Pediatric Surgeon.

  • Sub-Specialists: Interventional Radiologist, Nephrologist, Neurologist, Pulmonologist, Urologist, and Vascular Surgeon.

  • Cardiac Care: Cardiac Anaesthetist, Cardiologist (Interventional/Pediatric).

  • Other: Pathologist, Psychiatrist, Child Psychiatrist, and Healthcare Support Officers.

4. Education Branch

Required qualifications include MS/M Phil in the following subjects (M):

  • English, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Biology, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and Statistics.

  • Nationality: Open to Citizens of Pakistan.

  • Gender: Specific roles are open to Males (M), while others (particularly in Medical, IT, and Special branches) are open to both Males and Females (M/F).

  • Service Type: Short Service Commission (SSC).

  • Selection Process: Includes preliminary tests, medical examinations, and interviews at recruitment centers.
