Centralized Admission Notice for MBBS & BDS – Session 2025-26

NUMS, as the admitting university for its Constituent, Affiliated, and Armed Forces Administered Medical & Dental Colleges, is responsible under Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) Admission Regulations to conduct a centralized admission process for MBBS and BDS programs.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the First Year MBBS and BDS Session 2025-26 on Open Merit and Foreign Seats.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

For Open Merit Seats

• Nationality: Pakistani citizens (including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan). Dual nationals and overseas Pakistanis may also apply.

• NUMS MDCAT-2025: Must have passed the NUMS MDCAT held on Sunday, 28th September 2025.

  • Minimum 55% marks required for MBBS.

  • Minimum 50% marks required for BDS.

• Academic Qualification:

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification (with equivalence certificate from IBCC).

  • Must have studied Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.

For Foreign / Overseas Seats

• Applicants must hold a foreign nationality or be Overseas Pakistanis (Green Card, Iqama, or Maple Card holders).

• Must have completed 12 years of education (HSSC or equivalent) from within or outside Pakistan.

• Mandatory Subjects: Biology and Chemistry; with one additional subject (Physics or Mathematics).

• Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate in HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent (IBCC certified).

• Must have passed NUMS MDCAT-2025 (55% for MBBS, 50% for BDS) or an equivalent MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) with 50% marks.

Admission Fee Structure:

• Regular Fee: Rs. 7,500 (Open Merit) / Rs. 45,000 (Foreign Seat) – Non-Refundable

• Late Fee: Rs. 8,500 (Open Merit) / Rs. 50,000 (Foreign Seat) – Non-Refundable

🖥️ Application Procedure

1. Visit the NUMS website: www.numspak.edu.pk

2. Fill and submit the online application form carefully.

3. Upload required documents and certificates (IBCC Equivalence Certificate mandatory for A-Level/foreign students).

4. Applications must be submitted online only — no hard copies or postal submissions are accepted.

5. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected without notice.

6. Once submitted, the application cannot be modified.

⚠️ Important Instructions

• Candidates aged 18 years or above must possess CNIC / NICOP / Passport at the time of admission.

• Candidates below 18 years must provide Form-B / Juvenile Smart NIC.

• All academic certificates (Matric & F.Sc.) must be IBCC-attested.

• Candidates applying for improvement in results must submit updated documents by 19th December 2025 through their registered email.

• NUMS reserves the right to cancel any provisional admission if submitted credentials cannot be verified.

• Admissions will be made strictly on merit-cum-preference basis.

• Candidates applying as Paying Cadets to GHQ, W&R Directorate must also apply online through the NUMS portal.
