Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE)

Batch 14

The Institute of Medical Education (IME–JSMU) invites applications for Batch 14 of the Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) program.
This program is thoughtfully designed to meet the professional development needs of educators and practitioners working in health education institutions across Pakistan.

Program Overview

The CHPE Program aims to enhance the educational skills of health professionals, enabling them to design, deliver, and evaluate modern, evidence-based teaching and assessment strategies in medical and health sciences education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess any one of the following or an equivalent qualification, registered with the respective national regulatory/accrediting body (minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university):

• MBBS / MD (Registered with PMDC)

• BDS (Registered with PMDC)

• B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) (Registered with PNC)

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

• Allied Health Sciences degree

• Pharm D

Experience:

• One year of teaching experience in a relevant field will be preferred.

Seats Available:

• A maximum of 25 seats are available.

• Admissions will be offered to the first 25 applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria.

• JSMU reserves all rights of admission.

1. Availability of Forms:

   📅 Monday, November 24, 2025

3. Application Form & Prospectus:

4. Processing Fee:
   💰 Rs. 3,000/-

5. Required Document:

   • Each applicant must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Department or Institution, granting permission to attend the program.

6. Selection Process:

   • The IME–JSMU Admission Committee will finalize the admissions.

   • The final list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the JSMU website, and successful applicants will be informed via email only.

7. Announcement of Selected Candidates:
   📅 November 29, 2025

8. Last Date for Fee and Document Submission:
   📅 December 30, 2025

Important Notes

• The final decision for admission rests with the IME–JSMU Admission Committee.

• Incomplete applications or those without the required NOC will not be considered.

• Limited seats – early application is strongly advised.
