Admissions Announcement – Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) – Batch 14 (Session 2026)

The Institute of Medical Education (IME) at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) is pleased to announce admissions for the Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) — Batch 14, Session 2026. This program is carefully designed to meet the educational and professional needs of faculty and educators in health professions institutions across Pakistan.

• Availability of Application Forms: Monday, November 03, 2025

• Last Date for Submission of Forms: Monday, November 24, 2025

Admission Process

1. The application form and prospectus for CHPE 2026 are available at the official website: www.jsmu.edu.pk.

2. Each applicant must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Department or Institution, granting permission to attend the program.

3. The final admission decision will be made by the IME-JSMU Admission Committee.

4. Once the admission list is finalized, it will be announced on the JSMU website and successful candidates will be notified via email.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess one of the following (or equivalent) qualifications, registered with the respective national regulatory/accrediting body and must have completed a minimum of 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university:

• MBBS / MD (Registered with PMDC)

• BDS (Registered with PMDC)

• B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) (Registered with PNC)

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

• Allied Health Sciences

• Pharm-D

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum one-year teaching experience in the relevant field is preferable.

Other Details

• Processing Fee: Rs. 3000/-

• Maximum Seats: 25

• Selection Basis: Admission will be granted to the first 25 eligible applicants who meet all the criteria.

• Rights of admission are reserved by JSMU.
