HEALTH SERVICES ACADEMY (HSA), ISLAMABAD

Admissions Spring 2026

Health Services Academy (HSA) is a degree-awarding institute (DAI) chartered by the Federal Government under the HSA (Restructuring) Act 2018. HSA aims to enhance the quality of higher education in Pakistan while improving governance and management in healthcare through Public Health, Allied Health Sciences, Midwifery, Social Sciences, and related disciplines via long-term, short-term, teaching, training, and research programs.

All programs offered at HSA are accredited and recognized by relevant councils such as PMDC, PNMC, AHPC, and HEC.

A. Undergraduate Programs

Duration: 4 Years BS & 2 Years ADP

1. School of Public Health

  • Program: Public Health

  • Eligibility: HSSC or equivalent with minimum 45% marks

2. Faculty of Allied Health Technologies

3. School of Nursing and Midwifery

4. Faculty of Social and Interdisciplinary Sciences

  • Programs: Health Economics and Management, Health Management, Economics

  • Eligibility: HSSC or equivalent with minimum 45% marks

5. School of Sports & Physical Education

  • Programs & Eligibility:

    Special Education (SE) HSSC or equivalent ≥45% marks
    Speech Language Pathology (SLP) HSSC Pre-medical or equivalent ≥50% marks

6. School of Environment, Climate and Sustainability Change

  • Programs: Environmental Health Sciences & Management with majors in:

    • Environmental Public Health

    • Climate Change

    • Environmental Planning & Management

  • Eligibility: HSSC or equivalent with minimum 45% marks


B. Postgraduate Programs (MS/MPhil/PhD)

  • MS Public Health – 16 years of education in relevant field

2. School of Sports & Physical Education

  • MPhil Health, Physical Education & Sports Sciences – 18 years of education in relevant field

3. School of Health Professionals’ Education, Research & Entrepreneurship

  • PhD Health Professionals’ Education – 18 years of education in relevant field

  • MS Health Professionals’ Education – 16 years of education in relevant field
