B. Short Courses & One-Year Diplomas

These focused programs are ideal for medical professionals seeking advanced skills and specialized training:

1-Year Diploma

• Diploma in Echocardiography

• Diploma in Cardiology (Dip. Card)

• Diploma in Laryngo-Otorhinology (DLO)

• Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence (DMJ)

• Diploma in Medical Radiology (DMRD)

• Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO)

• Diploma in Psychiatry (DP)

• Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD)

Short Certificate Courses

• Basic Certificate Course in Ultrasound (6 Months)

• Certificate Course in Color Doppler Ultrasound (3 Months)

• Certificate Course in Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology (3 Months)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• MBBS degree (mandatory)

• One-year House Job (completed)

• Valid PMDC/PMC Registration Certificate

• Sindh Domicile
  (Applicable for 1-year and 2-year diploma programs)

Important Notes

• The admission form and entry test fee (non-refundable) PKR 8,000 must be submitted online through the DUHS website.

• Application fee will not be refunded, including cases where a candidate is found ineligible after document scrutiny.

• Last Date for Application Submission:
  Monday, 22 December 2025
  No late applications will be accepted.

• Entrance Test Date:
  Wednesday, 07 January 2026
  Venue & timing will be communicated through the admit card as per DUHS SOPs.

• In case of any mass disaster, candidates may be required to participate in university-led relief efforts.

• Government employees must apply through proper channel and provide an advance copy of the NOC to the Postgraduate Studies Department.

• Selected candidates must arrange their own accommodation.

• No personal visits/contacts will be entertained; all communication must be done through the official email.
