FCPS Part II – 4-Year Residency Programme in Dentistry (2025-A)

Jinnah Sindh Medical University invites applications for induction into the FCPS Part II Residency Programme in Dentistry, a rigorous 4-year postgraduate training aimed at developing advanced clinical expertise, professional competence, and research-oriented dental specialists.

Available Specialties

Candidates may apply for residency in the following disciplines:

• Operative Dentistry

• Orthodontics

• Prosthodontics

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must possess a Sindh domicile

• Must have passed FCPS-I in Dentistry

• Must hold a valid PMDC/PMC registration

Required Documents

Attested copies of the following documents must be mailed along with the printed application form:

1. FCPS-I passing letter in Dentistry

2. Sindh Domicile

3. House Job Certificate

4. Academic Degrees: BDS, HSC, SSC (or equivalents)

5. CNIC

6. Valid PMDC/PMC Registration Certificate

7. Two passport-size photographs (attested on the back)

8. NOC from Head of Institution (for government or private employees)

Important Instructions

• Admissions will be granted strictly on merit.

• Candidates must:

  1. Fill out the online application form at www.jsmu.edu.pk

  2. Download and print the filled form

  3. Courier the hardcopy along with all attested documents and the paid fee voucher of Rs. 5000 to the Office of Admissions, JSMU

• Government employees must apply through proper channel, with an advance copy and an official NOC from their department.

• No TA/DA will be provided for the entry test or interview.

• No personal visits/contacts will be entertained regarding admissions.

• Applicants are instructed to regularly visit the website for updates.
