Punjab University offers admission to private candidates of BSc in following subjects.

Besides these subjects, students can also choose more subjects defined by the university at the time of admission.
The B.Sc Examination conducts in March/April every year. Each written paper will be of three hours duration. There are five subjects for the B.Sc. Examination.
The BA/BSc private candidates are now permitted submit the examination forms for the subjects having practical portion. The decision was taken because students were facing difficulty in getting admission. Now all the private students can appear in the final exams of BA/BSc with subjects having practical portion.
The subjects of "English Language" and Islamiyat/ Ethics and Pakistan Studies are compulsory subjects, carrying 100 marks each and any one of the groups of three elective Science subjects, each subject carrying 200 mark.
