Every year thousands of students appear in MA exams through Peshawar University. All the candidates who want to appear in the MA exams of Peshawar University as a private candidate have to register themselves. It is the process in which university assures the candidate that he/she can appear in the exams under that specific university. The university does not announce the registration schedule separately. If the candidate is not already been registered with the university and appearing in exam for the first time then he has to pay registration fee along with the admission from and fee.

Peshawar University starts admission process for MA private candidates in March and exams generally held in July. The university advertises its admission notice in renowned newspapers and also places on the university website. University does not accept incomplete admission forms, any over-writing, cutting or erasing. Private candidates can get admission as a private candidate who occurs between the date of passing the intermediate examination and B.A. Part-I is not less than 1 year and the period occurring between the date of B.A Part-II and M.A previous examinations is not less than one academic year. However, subjects involving field work or practical work are not allowed to private candidates. The university declares its admission schedule in newspapers and also places on website.
