The University of Sargodha was established in 2002 by an ordinance of the Government of Pakistan Before, it was called the Government College, Sargodha. Every year thousands of students get themselves register and appear in Private MA/MSc examinations. After getting BA or BSc degree students can apply for private master’s admission. They can also get admission as a private candidate if they have already done MA or MSc in any other subject. The subjects for private students are specific while regular students can get admission in all the subjects offered by the university. Registration and Admission process for both private MA and MSc candidates starts simultaneously in the month of November while annual exams starts in July ever year.

The university advertises its admissions and describes criteria for its private students. Candidates have to follow rules and regulations and other procedure otherwise they would not be able to appear in the final exams.
