GAT subject test is a test for determining the ability as well as aptness of aspirants for Postgraduate studies. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan requires that a candidate for higher education across the country must have qualified Graduate Assessment Subject test for admission in PhD program along with no less than 50% scores. Higher Education Commission has delegated the responsibility to NTS to conduct and manage GAT subject test results. GAT test is also known as GRE Local test in Pakistan. The validity of GAT subject test is two years. After two years of taking GAT subject test its result will not be considered valid.
