Job Summary/Major Responsibilities
Eligibility Criteria
The position is responsible for supervising, developing and implementing the Continuous Audit Roadmap, Methodology and procedures. In addition to the above the ideal incumbent will also be responsible for supervising the Whistle Blowing function.
Continuous Audit:
• Prepare and implement the Continuous Audit Plan.
• Supervise designing of data formats for extraction of data from system
on OBI Dashboards and analysis of data using continuous audit
procedures/tools. • Develop the reporting/controlling dashboards for continuous audit using Power BI/MS Excel etc.
Head - Continuous Audit & Whistle Blowing
(Grade: SVP-I/EVP-I)
(Location: Lahore)
• Identify and escalate the special issues through a report to respective Groups for validations and resolution having material breach of internal controls, leakage of income, violations of policies & procedures and deviation from laws and regulations prescribed by SBP & other regulatory authorities etc.
• Review the observations/issues submitted by subordinates and escalation of these to the respective Business Groups for compliance. • Develop and maintain cordial and professional working relationship with other stakeholders/auditee management at all times and discuss
workable Management Action Plans in response to Audit Findings.
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a HEC recognized Local/ Foreign University/ MBA/M.Com/M.Sc. in Accounting/Finance/ Mathematics/ Statistics/CFAP/CAF/ CA/CIA etc. from any HEC recognized University or other equivalent qualifications. Preference will be given to the candidates with expertise/ certifications in Data Analytics/Data Sciences etc.
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Commercial Bank in similar or related role within internal audit.
Age: Up to 50 Years as of February 25, 2024.
