Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has released the schedule for submission of admission forms and fee for M.Ed (Visual Impairment), 2nd annual examination 2011 (session 2010-2011) and annual examination 2012 (session 2011-2012).

The last date for submission of admission forms with single fee is Dec 12, 2012, while with double fee till Dec 17, 2012. The examination will start from January 9, 2013.

Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies has arranged a one day seminar on “Realizing Options, Outlets and Opportunities for Post – 2014 Afghanistan” in collaboration with Political Science at seminar hall of CSAS.

Director CSAS & Chairperson Department of Political Science Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid gave welcome address while the eminent speaker was Dr Najam Abbas Senior Fellow at East-West Institute, Belgium on Central and South Asian affairs. Dr Najam Said that war in Afghanistan had established new realities leading to new opportunities. He said that US wanted removal of its forces from Afghanistan but also wanted to confine the influence of China, Russia and Iran. Later, Dr Umbreen Javed presented souvenir to the guest.

The Department of Applied Psychology is going to conduct a three-day International Conference on Applied Psychology (ICAPP) on December 16 at the department.

According to the information Department of Applied Psychology Chairperson Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar said that pre-post conference workshops on areas of specialization related to the descriptions of psychology will be held on December 15, 16 and 19 at the department. She said that famous foreign delegates and local presenters would participate in the moot.
