PPAF initiates Young Professionals Internship Program 2013

Lahore, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) has started internship program for the young professionals of Sindh, Punjab and KPK.  Fresh candidates can apply for the program till May 31, 2013.

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is a non-profit company and signifies an advanced model of public private enterprise. Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is the lead institution for grass root development in the country. It has partnered with 123 organizations working in over 93,000 villages/settlements in 121 districts.

PPAF's outreach now extends throughout Pakistan and its interventions in microcredit, energy, infrastructure, disaster management and preparedness, livelihood and social protection, health, education, disability and institutional development have been widely recognized.

PPAF invites applications from young graduates with Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) domicile for its internship program commencing from August 2013 with classroom training and field attachment. In addition, subject to performance, a select number of interns will be retained for advanced field immersion. The internship is stipend based.

Fresh graduates of not more than 28 years of age, with Masters in Social Sciences or equivalent degree having interest in developing institutions of the poor for achieving community-driven-development can apply before Friday, May 31, 2013.

Opportunities will be given on the equality basis to all male and female employers. Women and candidates of less developed areas of Sindh, Punjab and KPK are encouraged to apply. Persons with disabilities, who meet the required criteria, will be guaranteed an interview (please clearly mention nature of disability in application).
