Islamabad: Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) a program of PM’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme is going to be started for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today. Talented students of deprived areas could get free education at higher level. It was launched in Quetta for the talented students of Balochistan last month and the students of KP could get this opportunity. In this regard a ceremony will be organized in Peshawar. 
 
It is important to note that the first two schemes had been launched in the province where the government is not of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). the scheme has been initiated purely on merit basis and it was begun in Balochistan by the Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar. Students of Balochistan acknowledged this scheme and steps taken by Prime Minister. 
 
It was decided that the scheme will be launched today and in this way meeting was presided over by chairperson of the PM’s Youth Program Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday at the Prime Minister House. She will give the hundred percent fee reimbursement cheques to the aspirants of less developed areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and FATA for admission at higher level including MA, MSc, MS, MPhil and PhD programs under HEC recognized universities. The meeting was also attended by HEC Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmad. Among the 30,000 post graduate students of less developed areas of the country, over 6,000 postgraduate students of KP and Fata will be benefited from this scheme from the 1.20 billion rupees for the talented but deprived students.
