PIC BSc Hons MLT and CPT admissions 2023-2026 are open

Punjab Institute of Cardiology B.Sc. (Hons.) Medical Technology admissions are open. In a recent admission notice, the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Jail Rd. Lahore announced that the B.Sc. (Hons.) Medical Technology (Allied Health Sciences) admissions are open for the session of 2023 - 2026. Students holding domicile of Punjab, can apply for the admissions till 20 December 2022. Allied Health Sciences department Lahore is affiliated with Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), which offers graduate programs in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Dental Technology, Cardiac Perfusion Technology (CPT), Medical Imaging Technology, Speech and Language Pathology etc. Within the campus of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), there are futuristic medical labs and there will be no limit to the number of the opportunities for students to receive hands-on training in the relevant medical technology. The aim of these graduate programs is to develop professional medical teams that can work along with doctors and nurses. Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) admissions 2023 - 2026 are open for 2 following programs:

1. Cardiac Perfusion Technology (CPT)
2. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Punjab Institute of Cardiology Admission 2023 – 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

• For admission in BSc Hons Cardiac Perfusion Technology (CPT), candidate is required to have cleared FSc (pre-medical) with at least 50% marks.

• If a candidate is interested in BSc Hons Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), he or she is required to have cleared FSc (pre-medical) with at least 50% marks or an equivalent diploma in MLT from NIH/PIMS Islamabad/ IPH Lahore.

• Minimum 50% Marks in Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2022).

• Candidate have to be a Punjab Domicile holder. 

• Age limit for admission Is 25 years. 

Important Facts:

• There is 5% quota for the students who have done FSc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). This quota is only for BSc Hons Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) admissions.
• Candidates will be chosen for admissions completely on merit basis. 
• Extra 20 marks will be awarded to the Hafiz e Quran Candidates, after the Hafiz e Quran test and certificate verification. 
• Employees of government and semi government divisions can send the application structures through appropriate channel till 20th December 2022.
• Students will not receive a daily or travel allowance for appearing in the interview or test.

How to Apply for Admission at PIC:

• Get the PIC prospectus/ admission form by visiting the cashier office of Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Jail Rd. Lahore for Rs. 300/- 
• Fill the form and attach the copies of required documents. Required document details can be seen on the form.
• After filling the form submit it physically at Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Jail Rd. Lahore by 20 December 2022.
