Peshawar: The female students of Jinnah College for Women grabbed all the top three positions in science and arts groups of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual exams 2016. Board of intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar (BISE Peshawar) announced final results for HSSC exams on July 30th, 2016. Ilmkidunya has also uploaded the result. Paghunda Mayar of Jinnah College for Women (JCW), University of Peshawar got 1008 out of 1100 marks and clinched first position in the overall HSSC result 2016.

Syeda Batool Haider and Amina Khan of Jinnah College for Women shared second pnosition by obtaining 1007 marks. Likewise, Zainab Nawaz of Jinnah College for Women and Safina Tanveer of Islamia College for Girls University of Peshawar obtained 1003 marks and shared third position in overall HSSC results.

In Pre-Engineering group, Asad Sultan of Islamia College Peshawar clinched first position by securing 1000 marks.

Second position was obtained by Muhammad Shadman Khan of ICP by and he obtained 985 marks whereas third position was clinched by Shafaq Tauqir of Shabibullah of ICP and he got 984 marks in annual exams.

In General Science group, Aiman Ayub of Bacha Khan Government Girls Degree College, Kohat Road Peshawar grabbed first position by obtaining 937 marks. In this group second position was clinched by Salma Noor of JCW by securing 935 marks and third position was obtained by Mahanoor Javed of JCW with 925 marks.

In Humanities Group, Shakeeba Altaf of Government Frontier College for Women Peshawar clinched first position by obtaining 888 marks.

Zeemad Ahmad a private candidate got 886 marks and Uzma of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nishtar Abad Peshawar got 881 marks and clinched second and third positions respectively.

As per the overall result, a total of 49,149 candidates appeared in the FA/FSC annual exams 2016 out of which 38,351 candidates were declared "pass" whereas the passing percentage of overall result remained at 78%.

Students of Jinnah College for Women secured almost all the top 20 positions in the FA/ FSc result 2016.
