APS Peshawar student secures first position in FBISE SSC exams 2016

Islamabad: Federal board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Federal) announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual exams result 2016 on Tuesday.

According to the announced matric result, first three positions in annual exams are secured by female students.

Position Holders

Minaal Amir of Army Public School, Peshawar (Science Group) secures first position by obtaining 1032 marks.

Arooj Fatima and Aiman Gul both shared second position securing 1031 marks.

Ayesha Ahsan, Hafsa Saeed and Areej Musharraf grab third position securing 1030 marks each.

Areej Sajjad of Fauji Foundation College for Girls (Humanities Group), New Lalazar Rawalpindi, Cantt secured first position securing 985 marks.

Overall SSC part 2 result 2016 (FBISE)

Total 63,711 regular candidates appeared in annual exams conducted under supervision of BISE Federal board out of which 58,081 students have been declared pass with passing ratio of 91.61 %.

On the other hand, 19,183 private candidates were appeared in exams out of which 7,809 candidates declared pass.

The overall passing percentage for these exams remained at 74.71 percent.

Prize Distribution Ceremony for Position holders

The board also organized prize distribution ceremony for position holders of these exams in which Minister of State for Federal Education and Profession Training Muhammad Baleeg-ur-Rehman participated as chief guest of the ceremony.

While speaking at the ceremony, Baleegh-ur-Rehman said that the Federal Government will introduce a new education policy in agreement along with all the provinces to meet the requirements of the present-day needs.

He furthermore said that National Curriculum Council has been established to prepare curriculum as per the defined national education standards.

FBISE is one of the best education boards in the country, he added.

 He also said that Federal Government has launched a project for the improvement of all the regional education boards and in this respect an amount of 50 million rupees has been reserved.

In the end, chief guest distributed prizes among the position holders.
