NTS announced GAT General Test schedule 2016

National Testing Services Pakistan (NTS) has announced the Graduate Assessment Test Schedule 2016. This announcement for final dates of conducting test is made by the authorities of NTS. Mainly this GAT general test relates to Higher Education Commission however HEC, Pakistan has given this responsibility to NTS for conducting test.

GAT General Test is basically held for admission in M.phil or MS programmes and for the scholarships as well. The result of this test is valid for two years while the eligibility criterion to appear in this test is 16 years of education. Those students who have completed their 16 years of education are ineligible to apply in this test.

GAT test by NTS is normally taken in major cities of Pakistan that involves Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi and etc. As per the new rules and policy HEC has explained the tasks to NTS for taking GAT General test for all universities and for awarding scholarships to eligible students. Now it is necessary for all the students to appear in GAT test who wish to get admission in Mphil or MS programmes.
