Rawalpindi: Total 179 examination centres have been established for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual exams 2016 which will begin in Rawalpindi Division from 7th May 2016. The intermediate annual exams of all other educational boards of Punjab will also begin on the same day.
As per the chairperson of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dr Mohammad Zareef, all the arrangements have been made for transparent and fair holding of the annual exams.
Roll number slips have already been dispatched to the regular candidates and they can collect them from their respective colleges, while the private candidates will receive their roll number slips on their postal address.
Mr Zareef said 60,013 candidates, 24,996 male and 35,017 female aspirants were issued roll number slips for inter exams.
Out of total examination centres in Rawalpindi, 94 centres are for female students whereas 72 are for male students and 13 combined examination centres have also been established, he added.
According to the chairperson, Special groups will also randomly visit the centres during exams.
