Namal College Mianwali was established in 2011 to provide healthy, inventive and supportive Information Technology, Management and administrative education. The university is affiliated with University of Bradford UK. This project was named as Namal Knowledge City (NKC). This project would be completed in three phases and in the first phase only short certificate courses and diploma in higher education programs would be offered in the college. The undergraduate and postgraduate degrees of various disciplines would be offered in the second phase. The vision o getting university charter is also the part of second phase. In the third phase there is planning to establish a technology park, enterprises and commercial areas nearly in 2015.
