Islamabad: International Islamic University (IIU) will provide five scholarships to Kenyan students. This statement was given by the IIU Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai on Thursday in a meeting along with the First Consular, High Commission of Republic of Kenya, Abdi Kadir Doyo Worio, who called on him at the new campus of university.

Dr. Masoom further said that that these scholarships will be given to the Kenyan students in the discipline of Islamic Studies. The Kenyan diplomat admired the role of international Islamic university in promotion of education across the world and said that alumni of IIU in Kenya are on very respectable positions and showing their abilities in different vital departments.

He showed keen interest in mutual association and termed the announcement of scholarships as a “exceptional opportunity” for the students of his country.

Dr. Masoom assured that International Islamic University will continue working on its mission to cater education requirements of talented youth.
