IIU starts HEC Need Base Scholarships for Fall 2013

Islamabad, International Islamic University Islamabad has started HEC Need based scholarships for fall 2013 for deserving students seeking admission to undergraduate. 

A Need Based Scholarships program has been introduced with the intention of uplifting the academic needs of talented students to provide them the opportunity for pursuing higher education with ease and comfort. Students coming from remote and rural areas who fulfill the requirements of the program will be given special preference so that they can complete their education and improve their socio-economic condition in order to be a part of the higher arena in Pakistan.

The scholarships will cover the Tuition Fee, Hostel Dues and Monthly Stipend for Books, Transportation, food etc.

Need based scholarships are available in the university with the condition that the scholarships will be provided to only the poor and deserving students through NBS form on the mentioned basis.
The authority of the information provided by the students can be verified by cross checking of the date provided.  If any information is not clear IIU committee may call the parents or depute someone for physical verification of the date provided.

The application can be taken from the office the UAFA (Podium of the Hazrat Umer Farooq Block, Administration Block, Zone A) or directly download from IIUI website.

The duly filled Need Based Scholarship form should be submitted to the office of UAFA with the supporting documents and Admission form should also require to be submitted to the Academic wing /admission office.

The IIU will review the applications and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

The students not selected by HEC will have to bear their fee at their own. Students will be awarded the NBS Subject to the approval the SMC of HEC.
